Kids in Salem County got to explore the world of science in a fun creative way.

On Thursday, January 10th, Salem Community College hosted the 20th annual Kids Inquiry Conference (KIC), inviting more than 900 first through fifth-grade students to take part in hands-on science activities throughout the day.

For the first time in its 20 year history, the KIC event also welcomed volunteers from Camp Edge, a program of Ranch Hope, to conduct fun team building exercises with the students.

Officials say the event is a great way to get kids interested in science at a young age and show them that when you work together you can accomplish anything. (Read the FULL SNJToday article)
